BRITNEY'S NEW ALBUM "GLORY"

The internet has been set ablaze today and is Hot As Ice as Godney herself has announced the title of her highly anticipated left-lane ninth studio album Glory set to release this month on August 26th

Today sees the official Pre-Order date of the album, which also grants fans the instant download of her recently perfume associated track Private Show

Being the opinionated writer that I am, I must admit that the cover got me feeling some mixed emotions. The first being that just by the look of the album cover, it feels well...basic.

Yes I understand this is a brand new era for our Queen of Pop music, but when you consider the artworks of previous albums Britney Jean, Femme Fatale, Circus and even Blackout, this one is just very underwhelming.

Take a look below.

For all the time that Britney took to cook up this album, I feel like she could've spent just a few more minutes during the album's photoshoot, but that's all I'm saying.

However, sonically there is much more promise for the album if her latest single Make Me... assisted by G-Eazy and the promotional Private Show cut is any indicator of how the album's collective sounds are composed. I'm definitely looking forward to the music (and a different looking deluxe cover...) seeing as it still portrays her as the pop dynamo she's always been, but a more refined and complex version of her that you definitely want a piece of (wink wink...these horrible puns).

Take a listen below.
