FLASHBACK FRIDAY - Flashback

Better buckle up and hold on tight because every Friday, we're taking a musical ride back in time to appreciate the stepping stones that have brought us to the new musical age that we are currently living in. The qualifications for this segment are quite simple. Any song from any album can be chosen, just as long as it isn't from the artist's latest album (i.e. Nicki Minaj - Moment 4 Life). As this is the very first week of this blog's reinstatement, I figured that I would do some shameless subliminal messaging by having all musical material be provided solely from videos that are a part of the LIMBOtv project, but this is only the for the first week because the project didn't coin as many videos as I had hoped it would've. 

But anyways! Today's track is ironically enough "Flashback" by Icona Pop. This track was featured on their self-titled debut album in 2012, but it wasn't released in the U.S. The "I Love It" 90's Bitches seem to have time travel down to a science with the sci-fi-esque instrumentals to the infectious repetition of the chorus, the lyrics are full of drunken haze "full of hate" and it's absolutely beautiful.
