"I Think I'm In Love" Thursday
Cheers to almost the freaking weekend and to going against the social norms! Or at least what I find normal on this blog anyways. If you've noticed in the titles of each week's post, every day tends to bring the same themes and such with Monday's & Sunday's being the most constant of the days of the weeks, and this week I figured, fxck it, I was gone for a week and I'm coming back with brand new eyes and ears and ready to give you guys some quality music to add to your playlists!
Anyways! Going into today's track that appropriately titles today as "I Think I'm In Love" Thursday, we have Miss Kat Dahlia's I Think I'm In Love off of her latest released album My Garden. The other night, I was listening through the album praying that the project would be as promising as today's track, but sadly, the sound was frankly too generic for me and overall a flop. But that's not important, what's important is that we do celebrate the one track she did right and thankfully was the leading single off the jump.
The track itself embodies emotions and thoughts that every lovestruck individual faces when they get the feels for somebody and it's overall a cute and playful track. I think my favorite part is actually right before the last chorus when her and her boyfriend basically are bashing each other's physical features.
"I make fun of your belly and tell you to do some crunches, and you say "yeah well your ass jiggles, go and do some lunges," I say "fxck you" while I'm thinking of you as my husband."
Is it wrong that I want a dysfunctionally functional relationship like this where we can bash each other in more than one way and make love and everything in the world is right. I wish I could say I Think I'm In Love...sigh...
