RED ALERT - Eleutheromaniac
Indeed, "we have arrived mother lovers!". Where have we arrived to exactly? Beats me, but the fact that Neon dropped the title track on her youtube page means that we must be getting closer to the album's freedom! (See what I did there (;)
Unlike other artist releasing tracks for their latest projects (*cough* American Oxygen *cough* BBHMM *cough* FourFiveSeconds *cough*) this track actually has substance and promise to the entire housing album. Neon promised her sound was considered Gypsy Pop and that is exactly what you get out of this track! The perfect blend of freedom and love being spread.
Neon has written songs for quite some time now and has created a lot of material, I'm talking 4 albums worth of material, yet this project is her debut album. She has released many a single prior including her great feats such as F*ck U Betta, Bad Dog, the collaborative pieces of Ass Back Home & Gold, and so on and so forth! She has also helped to cowrite many a song for other hitmakers and it's about damn time that she gets her own recognition and gets her righteous freedom for herself! I believe she's also the first artist to have a fan record label, which is quite revolutionary in terms of the way artist release their music and it's full on power to the artist and the people!
I've been a long time fan of Neon and it feels amazing to see her finally blossoming and releasing her material in the way she wants and the songs are beyond beautiful.
