#MusicMonday - Speak
Happy #MusicMonday!
"I've got a lot to say to you" guys for what's to come in this next few weeks to the LIMBO Project, but first, let's talk about today's track. Through yet another one of my various raids of YourEDM, I came across Petey Mac's beautiful dance ready track using Hayley William's vocals from Paramore's Crushcrushcrush, which is perfectly titled as Speak.
This track relays a Vicetone vibe that has been absent from their latest projects (from their recent tracks that I've heard...) and it's quite brilliant. The song is hard hitting, yet tamed thanks to the verses that slow down the tempo every now and again, but then sure enough the build up follows shortly and packs quite the musical punch to hit you right in the kisser...err eardrums?
