"The Weekend" Wednesday

"OH MY GOD! It's the weekend like everyday.." (I wish...)

Did I get you too excited there? Sorry bout it! But this track definitely got me pumped up for the The Weekend. Here is Miss Eden xo's second single following her legal name change from Jessie and the Toy Boys, which was changed once again from her actual name Jessie Malakouti. Yowza! 

Eden's new style is very different from her previous works as Jessie with a very unique style of pop music that is retro, yet futuristic all at once. Her other single Too Cool To Dance follows the same guidelines in presenting a special piece of the puzzle that is absent in music in general today (perhaps it's fun?)

Quite obviously the beat is catchy as hell and of course Jessie... err I mean Eden...always slays on the lyrics being the incredible lyricist and songbird that she is (still with no debut album to show for...just saying). She speaks of getting through her tough week to then explode over the weekend with her witty little lines like "wanna be friends Phoebe Buffay?"

Eden xo is a genius and I can't wait to see what else she's got in store for us. (:
